This privacy statement explains how the owner (“I”, “me”) of the website (www.dennisproksch.de) collects and uses informatiom about you. It applies to everything under the domain www.dennisproksch.de. As well, it covers how I treat your data when you write an e-mail to me.

Be aware, this privacy statement may change from time to time. If I change it, you will see a different date below the privacy statement headline than the one you see now. Please review this privacy statement regularly to stay informed about it.

When you visit this Website

Your data matters to me. That is why I only store the minumin amount of information about your visit to your website. In detail, for seven days, I store this:

After seven days, I replace your IP by some random, anonymous token and aggregate the other data into a statistic.

I need this data and the statistics for two purposes: (1) Without it, the webserver is not able to defend itself against malicious attacks. Indeed, this reflects the bare minimum to protect me from the most common attacks and other forms of abuse. (2) Without this data, I will not be able to enhance this blog. I want to provide you with information that you want to read. Therefore, I must keep track of my visitors and know which pages are the most attractive – so that I can write more of them.

When you write me an e-mail

When you write me an e-mail, I will store your name and e-mail address to keep in touch with you and help you on your request. I will delete your name and e-mail address whenever you send me an e-mail with a short notice. In rare cases, I may be forced to store an e-mail address despite such a notice to protect me from Spam.

Storage of Data

Your data is stored on a secure server located in Munich, Germany. Only I have a password-protected access to it.

What are your data protection rights?

I would like to make sure you are fully aware of all your data protection rights. Every user is entitled to the following:

The right to access – you have the right to ask me for copies of your personal data. I may charge you a small fee for this service.

The right to rectify – you have the right to request me to correct information about you that you can show is inaccurate. The same applies to incomplete information about you.

The right to erase – you have the right to ask me to erase your personal data under the prementioned conditions.

The right to restrict processing – you have the right to ask me to restrict the processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.

The right to object to processing – you have the right to forbid me to process your personal data, under certain conditions.

The right to port data – you have the right to ask me to transfer that data I collected from you to another organization, or directly to you, under certain conditions. I may charge you a small fee for this service.
